This project focused on the design a multipurpose space, using an existing footprint. This space acts as a place for young professionals or students to go to study, work, relax or even mingle. Different types of possible interaction were taken into account within the design’s layout. Plants offer inspiration in this space, allowing users to escape in their own little, modern jungle.
Models were made using clay, paper and wood in the early stages of this design in order to experiment with shape and scale. As with any design process, napkin sketches played a key part in driving different design features, such as the hanging of wire shapes.
