This assignment entailed designing a campus hot spot of a food vendor of our own choosing. The goal was to focus on one particular material when constructing the space. The provided space is found in the Columbus College of Art & Design admissions building.
Wood was used repeatedly throughout this design. This material best represented the Piada brand and made for an interesting material study. In the development of the design, different substances were applied to samples of wood to better learn how the material can be manipulated using nontraditional ingredients.
